I am one of these single women....I agree with statement how society in general thinks it is important to get married and be happy than be single and not happy.  People keep coming up to me saying where is your boyriend or are you dating...in past, I was taken aback with this comments...now, I just shrug and laugh....I say that as long as I am happy, then there is nothing wrong with being single and happy....of course, one day, someone comes along and we will see where it goes from there.
