Mmm, this article caught my attention...even though I read the article, I am not sure how I feel about this yet. I guess I will sleep on this and maybe talk about it someday.

Found it in my posting box. I couldn't emphasize enough about how you convey your messages on your blog to the "world". It is best to ask your manager or company on their policy. Write your blog as if you are writing an article for front of newspaper for whole wide world to read. Do not give out TMI (too much information) about yourself, your family, your loved ones and friends, your job and etc or you may stand a risk for being a victim of Identity Theft or part of rumor mills. However, I am sure that you guys know that despite if your intention to convey your information to the world is pure and good, you probably will be part of rumor mills, regardless. It is up to you to be concerned abt it or not. :)

Came from my posting box....Even though, it is over a year old, it is still an interesting article to read.....I like how Sun Microsystems Inc. set up the rules for their employees.....one of blogging-friendly companies. I couldn't emphasize any more about thinking about how you write on your blog....like you are writing for the front page of newspapers for everyone to read. Just use your best judgment.

I cannot emphasize enough about how dangerous personal blogs can be for anyone - not just for teens only.....It is scary to know how Internet can be a common ground for anyone who wants to take advantage of us - Imagine how we can use earth google to find where we live and google our phone number and names to find more info.....Keep your blog at bay and restrict by giving out your personal info and info on any of your friends and loved ones. Write like you are writing an article for front page of newspaper.

I saw the article this morning....Blogging and you may get fired continue to be an issue here in USA. Where do you draw the line the boundary of free of speech? My simple rule to write something personally besides your view on general issues such as politics, events in the world, war and etc...: Write something like it is on the front page of newspaper....if you know you do not want it to appear on the front of newspaper, then don't even think abt writing or tweaking the names and/or facts to protect yourself. Simple as that. Also, not only firing is an issue....thief of identity is always a possible. That's why I try to refrain myself from giving out full name or details here. Interesting....I haven't seen one article about someone's identity being stolen via blog. I am pretty sure that there is one out there, but it is matter of searching for it. Mmmm, just remember the simple rule for personal stories: Write something like you are going to write for front of newspaper.
