Last Saturday mrg, I was driving down the street to my home....it was
like 800 feet away from my home when accident happened. The doe just
jumped out of nowhere on my right side and rammed into my car. Upon the
impact, the doe bounced off. I stopped right away and was in shocked
for a bit. I got out and looked for deer to see if she was hurt or
dead. The doe got up and hopped away. Gee....I looked at front of my
car thinking there was damage....I cannot see any damages since it was
dark at that time. I test drove and found it drivable. Whew. When the
daylight arrived, I looked at front of my car and didn't find any
damages. How odd. Anyhow, I went to my front passenger door to open it
and get something from inside of my car. I was shocked that I couldn't
get it opened all way out. I was confused at first....then, I glanced
over to front side of my car and saw huge dent left by doe! *sigh* I
counted my blessing that the accident happened near my home rather than
on road trip far away from home. I am working on getting it fixed. Oh
well....ohhhhh! Next few days, I saw the same doe and her couple of older fawns standing on side of the street twice. I slowed down, looked
at her and they quickly ran away. The doe knew cuz she must be hurt
from hitting on my car. You may think I must be out of my mind, but I am glad she is all right Oh well....
